• Hello! My name is Abbi. I am a self-diagnosed crazy dog lady. I live in Iowa, but I am originally from Canada Minnesota (I’m not actually Canadian as much as my husband wants to believe I am).

• I have been shooting professionally since 2014, however, I began shooting on my Fisher-Price film camera when I was about 6 years old. The photos were not good, but my love for capturing light hasn’t wavered. I learn more every day!

• My work has taken me through all types of photography including, but not limited to, senior photos, weddings, newborns, families, and landscapes but my bread-and-butter is Dog Photography. There is nothing more rewarding than working with a dog and getting a great shot.

• If I’m not photographizing (yeah, I made that up), you will likely find me painting, sculpting, or sewing. I enjoy many forms of Art!

• I am married to Andrew, a native Iowan! We met at Iowa State University, from which we both graduated. Together, we have three dopey dogs, the two tuxedo mutts, PJ and Iris, and our adorable hound, Leo (all 3 pictured below, respectively), each one can be found featured in this website countless times because I can’t control myself.

• Additionally, we share a home with a Peace Lily, a Tradescantia, a Syngonium, two Bella Palms, a Snake Plant, a Monstera, a Dieffenbachia, a Dracaena, a Gold Dust Dracaena, three Rubber Fig babies, an English Ivy, a Golden Pothos, and a Marimo Moss Ball. I love them all.
