I recently went on vacation with my family to San Diego, California. Having never been to California, I didn't know what to expect. All I can say is: Wow! What a beautiful place!

I'm a midwest girl, so I don't often get to experience the ocean or a true moderate climate (seriously, if you're not from the midwest, just know that it can go from North Pole status to Equator status in like five seconds). San Diego was like a dream. The weather was absolutely perfect, the sights were gorgeous and the food was unbelievable! If you ever visit San Diego, go to the restaurant Puesto on West Harbor Drive. The chicken tomatillo tacos and agua fresca were to die for!

The palm tree, my two little sisters, and the sea lions were all taken at La Jolla Cove, San Diego. The picture of my brother on the bench and the bay were taken at Cabrillo National Monument. The sunset and my little brother were taken at Coronado beach and the photo of my brother in front of the blue door was taken at The Center of the World, Felicity, California.

I am so thankful for the opportunities I was given on this wonderful trip. It is one I will never forget!
